The Center for Assessment

Overview

This data collection site has been developed to provide a resource of reliable testing and assessment information to individuals and to employers accessing America's Learning eXchange. We have identified approximately sixty assessment publishers who have been assigned a username and password. If you have a username and password, click on 'Please click here to login' at the end of these instructions. You will be taken to the login screen, where you can enter your username and password.

If you do not have a username and password, click on the link "register." This will take you to a registration page that will allow you to select a personalized username and password. Write down your username and password for future reference. You will be asked to enter your password a second time for verification. When you have done this, you will automatically go back to the login page.

When you now enter your username and password, you will be taken to the web data collection form. Please complete all items and click the submit button. Your data will be saved to the assessment database. A thank you screen will appear after the data is saved.

Partial data has already been entered for approximately sixty assessment publishers. If you are one of these publishers, please verify existing data, make any necessary changes, and complete the remaining items on the form. Remember the web-based data collection process allows each publisher to enter information about all of their assessment instruments that fall into the following categories:

• Achievement Tests
• Aptitude Assessments
• Drug/Alcohol Tests
• General Ability Tests
• Honesty/Integrity Measures
• Interest Inventories
• Literacy Tests
• Mental Ability Tests (ability to learn)
• Personality Inventories
• Physical Ability/Skills Tests
• Work Values Inventories

All assessment information entered by company representatives will be reviewed prior to final acceptance into the assessment database. Be sure to enter all contact information for your company including the e-mail address for the person responsible for the data entered. Any issues with a company's data will be communicated to the contact person through e-mail. We look forward to working with you as you submit your entries to the assessment database.
