The Center4.com is working with the Minnesota Department of Economic Security, the state lead of a consortium of state and non-profit agencies responsible for the development and maintenance of America's Learning eXchange (ALX). For information about ALX, please visit the Web site at: http://www.alx.org and click on 'About Us'. Our plan is to develop a database of testing and assessment publishers and instruments that will be searchable on the ALX Web site. Our goal is to provide a resource of reliable testing and assessment instruments for job seekers, employers and those in the workforce development community.

If you are a publisher or distributor of a test or assessment instrument described below and wish to be included in the database, you can do so by clicking the Assessment Button at TheCenter4.com. You will be asked to register and enter information about your company and products. All the information will be saved to a confidential database. Private information obtained for use in ALX will not be shared with any outside organization without the user's express permission and will not be used for any commercial purpose.

The web-based data collection process allows a publisher to enter information about all of their assessment instruments that fall into the following categories:

  • Achievement Tests
  • Aptitude Assessments
  • Drug/Alcohol Tests
  • General Ability Tests
  • Honesty/Integrity Measures
  • Interest Inventories
  • Literacy Tests
  • Mental Ability Tests (ability to learn)
  • Personality Inventories
  • Physical Ability/Skills Tests
  • Work Values Inventories

All assessment information entered by company representatives will be reviewed prior to final acceptance into the assessment database. Be sure to enter all contact information for your company including the e-mail address for the person responsible for the data entered. Any issues with a company's data will be communicated to the contact person through e-mail.
