Center for Curriculum Development

Stephen D. Thompson, Managing Editor for Web Publications

The Center for Curriculum Development is designed as a center for educator and counselor creativity. The idea is to explore the development of curricula focusing on the themes of each center that will be delivered through classroom and communities settings. This center will provide users with a variety of data gathering forms that will allow users to input their ideas. These ideas will then be edited, formatted for the web, and presented as a web curriculum publication. The Center for Curriculum Development will support national and state curriculum standards.

Following are links to examples of curriculum generation forms. The first form allows users to explore the integration of Maine's Guiding Principles into curriculum. The second form explores the relationship between worker functions in the world of work and work tasks assigned by classroom teachers.
